Western Union is a household name in international transfers, but its app experience no longer matched the urgency or expectations of a global audience. As the world’s mobility increases, users demand more than just function, they want clarity, speed, and confidence. Our mission was to reimagine the WU app from the ground up: a design-first concept that respects their brand trust while modernizing every touchpoint.
As the Senior Product Designer on a team of four, I led the redesign of FutureHealth’s website and mobile app following a complete brand refresh. Working closely with marketing and engineering, I translated the new visual identity into a cohesive digital experience, updated the design system with new color and typography tokens, refined responsive behavior across breakpoints, and introduced a cleaner, more modern interface inspired by today’s best product design practices while preserving the trust and clarity essential to healthcare.

The redesign brought FutureHealth’s new brand to life across web and mobile through a more refined, consistent, and accessible experience. Every screen was updated with a modern visual language, improved spacing, clearer typography, and a scalable design system built around reusable tokens and responsive components. The result is a cohesive product that feels lighter, more intuitive, and better reflects the company’s AI-powered approach to healthcare.

The redesigned experience successfully aligned FutureHealth’s digital products with the company’s new brand identity, creating a consistent foundation across web and mobile. The updated design system improved collaboration between design and engineering, making future iterations more scalable and efficient. This project reinforced the importance of building flexible systems that balance visual consistency, usability, and the trust users expect from healthcare products.
