Prometheus was born from a simple insight: founders and investors need more than updates, they need access. Traditional platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter weren’t built to foster startup deal flow, alternative assets, or niche conversations around venture. Our challenge was to create a professional social app tailored to startup builders, family offices, and fund managers, blending community with actionable business value.
Drawing direction from the founder and UX Team insights, I was responsible for translating product vision into a cohesive mobile and desktop experience. The usability mirrors Twitter and LinkedIn by design, but with cleaner interaction models, a sharper post feed, and tools investors actually use: private messaging, post pinning, company discovery, and curated tag filters. We built a scalable component system in Figma, ensuring design cohesion across platforms.
Prometheus enables users to post updates, comment, like, and share just like any social platform, but adds deep utility: connect funders to startups, allow DM outreach with context, follow deal categories, and access a curated feed of investment opportunities. The UI keeps friction low and content quality high. Both startup founders and investors get tools to make decisions, not just impressions.
As a product designer, my execution in close collaboration with the UX Team, the result is a bold, clean, and conversion-focused app design ready to onboard dealmakers at scale. Prometheus isn’t just another feed. It’s a new digital layer for private capital, a platform built to accelerate connections and unlock new markets.
